Scott Teplin received his BS from the University of Wisconsin at Madison (1995) and his MFA from the University of Washington, Seattle (1998). His work has been selected for solo-exhibitions at Jessica Murray Projects, Brooklyn; DiverseWorks, Houston; Howard House Gallery, Seattle; and Adam Baumgold Gallery, New York. He has been included in exhibitions at: PS1 Contemporary Art Center, Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Bronx Museum of Art, Artists Space, The Drawing Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music and Nicole Klagsbrun (New York); Bucheon Gallery (San Francisco); and Free Gallery (Glasgow). Teplin's work has been acquired by many institutions including: The Museum of Modern Art, Walker Art Center, Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Altoids Collection, Smithsonian Institution, Yale University, Harvard University, and The New York Public Library. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times and Creative Review Magazine (London). Teplin lives and works in New York City.
