Koji Shimizu was born in Japan and received his BFA from the Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan and his MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He has been included in exhibitions at the Scope Art Fair (with lyonsweiergallery), Deitch Projects (New York) and at the Bronx Museum of Art. He lives and works in New York.
