Karina Aguilera Skvirsky received her BA from Oberlin College (1989) and her MFA from Indiana University (1996). She has been included in exhibitions at StudioSOTO (Boston, MA); Intermedia Arts (Minneapolis, MN); Brooke Alexander Gallery (New York, NY); and at Jessica Murray Projects (Brooklyn, NY). Her work is included in the collections of: El Múseo del Barrío, The Bronx Museum of Art, New York Historical Society, the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She was an artist in residence at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and will be included in the 10th Biennial of the Moving Image at the Centre pour l’image contemporaine, Geneva, Switzerland. Skvirsky lives and works in New York.
