Jackie Gendel received her BFA from the Washington University
(1996) and her MFA from Yale University (1998). Her work has been
selected for solo-exhibitions at Jessica Murray Projects (Brooklyn)
and Mixture Contemporary Art (Houston) and has been included in
exhibitions at Bellwether Gallery, Joseph Silvestro Gallery (Brooklyn);
and at Red Dot Gallery, Harlem Flophouse, and White Columns (New
York). Her artwork has been reviewed by www.ArtNet.com. In
1998, she was awarded the Richard Dixon Welling Prize at Yale University,
and participated in a MacDowell Colony fellowship in 2004. Gendel
lives and works in New York, NY.
